Question:
I have a 2015 X5 with M sport package, not an actual X5 M. Do the same restrictions still apply to my vehicle with then M sport package as they do to and actual X5 M?

Expert Reply:
The restrictions are actually for the 2015 BMW X5 with the M Sport Package so yes in this case the restrictions will apply.
Since the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75600 is not confirmed to fit your X5 with the M Sport Package I recommend going with the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13077 which is confirmed to fit the M Sport Package. I confirmed this with my contact at Curt.
An installation video is linked for you to reference as well as the instructions. If you let me know what you will be using the trailer hitch for I can make additional recommendations if needed.
