Question:
I have a Pro Series shank on my old hitch 2”. Will this shank work with the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution w/ 4-Point Sway Control - No Shank - 6,000 lbs GTW, 600 lbs TW Code: EQ37061ET, bolt hole spacing and shank width of 2”

Expert Reply:
The shank parts of most weight distribution hitches use standardized hole sizing and spacing so the shank from one brand of WD system will work with the head assembly from another brand.
You do want to verify though that the weight capacities are the same. If your Pro Series shank were to be, just for example, rated for 1200-lbs of tongue weight (TW) such as # 63911, but your new system has a higher weight rating then you'd need to get another shank of the appropriate weight capacity.
All of our WD shank parts are displayed on the linked page.
You also want to make sure that the shank you use has the right amount of rise or drop to allow the hitched trailer to be level.
