Correct Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System for a Grand Design Imagine XLS 22MLE

Question:

Need help determining trailer tongue weight for a equalizer hitch when i have not picked up the trailer yet but need to bring it home. GD XLS 22MLE unloaded tongue is 500lbs @5200lbs and gross trailer weight of 7000lbs. Do I need 600-800lb bars or 800-1200lb bars on equalizer hitch?

The correct Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System for a Grand Design Imagine XLS 22MLE is part # EQ37100ET. This system is rated for 600-1,000 lbs. It might be on the high end of your setup but that's totally fine and what the mfg recommend. It allows you to add more weight if needed as well.
