Today, we're going to be taking a look at part number 63911, this is the Pro Series Weight Distribution Shank. This is designed for use with either round bar or trendium bar weight distribution systems. I want to point out that this is a solid one piece steel construction. Very heavy duty, nice and durable. It's going to have a black powder coat finish so it's going to do a good job at lasting a long time as well as resisting rust and corrosion. Now, it's going to have your industry standard six mounting holes.
These are gong to be separated apart from one another on center by an inch and a quarter. Now, with this weight distribution shank, we're going to have a capacity of 12,000 pounds as a gross trailer weight. Maximum tongue weight is 1,200 pounds. It can be used in either the drop or the rise position. A few measurements we're going to go over real quick, starting with the overall length. That's taking a look from the very back to the very front.
We can see that's going to give us a measurement of about 12 inches long. We take a measurement from the back of the shank to the center of the adjustment holes, that's going to give us a measurement of about 11 inches. From the center of our hitch pin hole to the center of the adjustment holes, that's going to give us a measurement, it looks to be about seven and three quarters of an inch. Then, from the center of the hitch pin hole to the back of this upright portion, this is a good measurement to know if you want to use this in the rise position, that way you can make sure you have enough clearance, that's going to give us a measurement from this point here to this point here of about six and three quarters of an inch. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the back of the shank, that's going to give us a measurement of about three and three eights of an inch. Now, when using this on a round bar system, it's going to give you a rise measurement, maximum rise of about five and one quarter of an inch.
Maximum drop measurement would be around two inches. On trendium bar systems, we're looking at a maximum rise of about six and a half inches and a drop of an inch and a quarter. Now, that rise and drop, that's going to be measured on the inside top on the receiver tube of your hitch to the top of the ball platform on your weight distribution system. Again, nice, solid steel construction and it's going to have that black powder coat finish to make sure it's going to last you a really long time. That's going to do it for today's look at part number 63911.
