Question:

Hi I am looking at the Dutton-Lainson Hand Winch - TUFFPLATE Finish - Single Speed - 600 lbs and I am looking to get a nylon strap and hook for this winch. I am also looking for a winch plate to connect this to on my trailer. Do you have any suggestions on nylon strap hook and also a winch plate? Thanks

The strap that you will need to use for the Dutton-Lainson Hand Winch # DL14125 is the 2" x 15' Strap # DL6148. The hook on this strap has a safety latch on it to help keep it secured to the load during operation. You will need a 2-3/4" long x 1/14" diameter bolt for this straps to work with this winch though (not included).

When it comes to mounting the winch we have the CE Smith Winch Stand # CE31013G but this is used for boat trailers. If you have a utility trailer then unfortunately we do not currently have a fit for you. You should be able to install it on the frame or the floor depending on your application.
