The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C12091 is a confirmed fit for your 2015 Ford Fusion and will work well for you. It is a Class II hitch with a 1-1/4" receiver tube opening. It is also very easy to install as you can see in the attached video.
In regards to the Curt 2 Bike Platform Rack part # C18085, you will have no problems using this bike rack with the Curt hitch on your Fusion. However, you will not be able to fold the rack up for storage (see photo) as there will not be sufficient space between the rack and rear bumper.
The only other thing you will need to use this bike rack on your Fusion is a support strap like part # 18050 as this is a requirement from Curt that will need to be followed in order to abide by the warranty of the hitch. If you would like to eliminate the need for the support strap then you can use the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 24897 instead. I have also attached an install video of this hitch for you as well.
You will not need anything else to use the Curt 2 Bike Platform Rack on your 2016 Ford Expedition.
