Air Bags for 2018 Chevy Silverado 3500 with Reese Custom 5th Wheel Rail Kit Installed

Will these firestone bags work with the reese 50066-58 hitch kit you will be installing on my 2018 silverado 3500hd towing 16 fifth wheel. I was told ride rite 5000 ultimate will not work wit the brackets.

Actually, you can install Air Lift air bags # AL88338 on your 2018 Chevy Silverado 3500 with Reese installation kit # RP50066-58 in place. Normally this kit uses u-bolts to secure the upper air bag brackets to the frame rails. This of course would interfere with the frame brackets from the 5th wheel kit. The instructions state:
For trucks that have fifth wheel hitch brackets along side the frame rail:
1. There are holes in the middle of the bracket just forward and behind the jounce bumper mounting cups on the upper bracket (Fig. 1). Once the upper brackets are in position, drill two 5/16” holes through the bottom of the frame using the holes as a template and attach the upper brackets using the self tapping screws (K). Torque all four fasteners to 15 lb.-ft.
This is on page 7 of the instructions I have linked for you. The Firestone kit you asked about, # F2709, can be used without any modification or alternate instructions.
