16” 6 lug Trl wheel, camper came w/235/80R16 LRE tires....we’ve upgraded to LRG 14ply are the wheels capable of withstanding 100psi?

When loading a higher rated trailer tire onto a trailer wheel as long as you stay within the lower of the two's weight rating and the psi rating of the wheel's valve stem you'll be fine.

So you need to determine the psi of your valve stems. First of all if they're metal they're gonig to be rated for over 100 psi. As a rule of thumb if they're rubber and the threads go all the way to the rubber of the stem then they're rated up to 65 psi. If there is metal between the threads and the rubber they're rated for up to 80 psi and additionally if they fit a 0.625 inch hole then they're rated up to 100 psi.

Worst case scenario if you're still unsure about your vavle stems you can remove them and their part number should be stamped on the underside.

If you need new valve stems we offer two that may work for you; part # AM20907 is rated up to 100 psi and fits a 0.625 inch hole and part # AM20906 which is metal and therefore rated over 100 psi. It can fit either a 0.625 inch or a 0.453 inch hole because it includes grommets for both sizes.
