Looking to flat tow my 2023 Jeep Cherokee Overland 4X4 Quad II with tow hooks and adaptive cruise control. Which baseplate/best system for this? Blue Ox and Roadmaster.

I would personally go with Roadmaster's stuff. They've had a really good track record in my experience and have been an industry favorite for a while.
So, for your 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee you're going to want the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM77ZR for a base plate and the Roadmaster Nighhawk # RM-676 for a tow bar.
This tow bar will easily attach to the base plate using the direct connect brackets, has an integrated LED light for low light conditions, and has an 8K capacity so it'll handle your Jeep just fine.
The last few items you're going to need to complete your flat tow setup is:
1. A braking system like the Roadmaster BrakeMaster w Pressure Reducer # RM-9160-900002, with the Roadmaster BrakeMaster Custom Fit Seat Adapter # RM49ZR and the RoadMaster Stop Light Switch Kit # RM77RR.
&
2. A wiring kit like the Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit # RM-154 with the Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-156-25.

I was advised that a Blue Ox base plate won't work for my 2023 Jeep GC Overland because it has the louvers. The site says RM77ZR would work but I'd lose the tow hooks. Okay, same as our previous GC. But the pictures look like the baseplate setup still gets in the area of the louvers. Thoughts?
