Can you send me a picture of your Jeep's factory crossbars? Or if you can send the picture with the DownLoader on the bars showing how it doesn't fit. We haven't had the chance to install the carrier on a Cherokee yet so I'm not sure how well it fits on the factory bars.

I've never seen factory bars like those. They're much larger than most crossbars on factory roof racks and are definitely too large for the DownLoader, part # MPG114MD. However, they appear that they have a T-slot. In which case you can likely use the Malone T-slot Mounting Kit, part # MPG8287, instead of the bolts that came with the DownLoader. I measured the piece of the kit that fits into the T-channel and it's 1 by 3/4 by 1/8 inches. This way you can compare it to the opening on your crossbars.
