J-Style Kayak Carrier Recommendation to Fit T-Slots of Adarac Pro Ladder Rack

Question:

I want to find a good quality Thule, or other J carrier for my kayak to fit my Adarac Aluminum Pro Series truck rack on my 2018 Chevy Silverado. I prefer for it to connect with the T channel rather than a clamp around but if such does not exist, I will consider any quality brand that will clamp securely to the cross bars.

We've got exactly what you need!

If you want standard J-Style cradles you can use the Thule Hull-A-Port Kayak Carrier w/Tie-Downs # TH834 but you will need the Watersports Adapter # THXADAPT11 to fit this to the T-Tracks on your Adarac Pro ladder rack.

For something a little nicer we have the Thule Hull-A-Port Aero Kayak Carrier w/ Tie-Downs # TH849000 which comes with hardware to mount directly to the T-Slots so no adapter is needed.

I personally like the Hull-A-Port Aero better because it not only looks nicer but it also has folding arms so you don't have arms sticking up when you aren't transporting your kayak. The standard Hull-A-Port has fixed arms so you can't reduce the clearance.
