Is it possible to mount yakima towers/rack on a Leer cap that only has Thule tracks as an option?

You can indeed install a Yakima roof rack system on your Leer cap that features the Thule tracks.

You will need to start with two of the Landing Pad 1 # Y00221, which are the pieces that will mount to the tracks to provide an attachment point for the towers. Then from there you will need 4 of the Control Towers # Y8890027. Then it is just a matter of selecting the crossbar length you are wanting. These are available in 48 inch # Y00408, 58 inch # Y00409, 66 inch # Y00410, and 78 inch # Y00411. Keep in mind that the bars can also be cut down to size so you can get the exact length you need for your cap.
