Great Addition to Flagstaff camper!!!!!Pop up camper came installed with only 2 stabilizers. We added these 2 to the front . We love the extra stability. Easy to install with self drilling/tapping hex head screws.

by:

I bought these two jacks for the rear of my Keystone Bullet. I had already purchased two and installed them on the front. The trailer seems more stable now, with not so much motion evident when moving about inside the trailer. No drilling was necessary. The jacks bolted on using the existing holes in the trailer (2016 Keystone Bullet 311BHS).

by:

The jacks themselves have worked great, they keep the trailer level and solid during our concession events. I just had them mounted to the trailer so I don't have to put them in and out at each event. The jack handles leave a bit to be desired so I use a 20v drill w/ a 3/4" socket to run them up and down.

by:

eTrailer processed the order quickly and I had the jacks within 3 days....thank you eTrailer. They were really easy to install and operate flawlessly. I was concerned that they threading would be too fine and the jacks would take forever to raise and lower, but I was wrong. They operate smooth and fast with no issues.

If you need to stabilize the back end of your trailer I would certainly recommend these.

by:

Easy to mount jack
Closes to a very
small size
Load and unload without the trailer connected.

Comments
The jacks are still working great. Thanks again!

These scissor jacks work well. Installation was relatively easy, just had to drill a few holes. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that they turn counterclockwise to extend and all the other jacks of this type I've used turn clockwise. This isn't a huge deal but I didn't see anything in the description that mentioned the reversed threading.

by:

Bought these for my 2018 Rockwood Mini Lite 2506s to replace all 4 of my jacks. They were only 5000 lb jacks and were all bent up. These jacks are beefier and hold 1500 more lbs per jack. Bolts up perfectly in the same holes. Also the trailer feels more sturdy when they are all down.

by:

Was a very simple unbolt old and install new. The mounting hole on the jacks matched up with the pattern on the jacks being replaced so there was no extra drilling required.

by:

if I had to rate this upgrade in difficulty one being the easiest five being the hardest, it would be a one. Super simple. Take the nuts and bolts off your old hardware and install the upgrade in its place. I read some of the reviews were people were annoyed with the counter clockwise rotation and the bolt sticking out too far. I really didn’t see a problem with either. I know you’re not supposed to use a drill to extend and retract these but I always have. I suppose as long as you’re not torquing the heck out of the adjustment screw you shouldn’t have any problems. I always put a small flat 2 x 6 piece of wood under the foot of each one of these. It seems to add quite a bit of stability.

Comments
Perfectly! Keep em clean with a coat of lubricant & theyll serve you well!

by:

Definitely a heavier duty version of our campers stock stabilizers. They bolted right up to the brackets and glad we have new stabilizers. I hope the paint lasts on these as that seems to be an issue with the other, cheaper stabilizers. Time will tell.

by:

I have used these scissor jacks on a trailer stand hunting blind. Which is a top heavy situation. The jacks on all 4 corners of the trailer added a tremendous stable platform.

by:

We installed the scissor jacks last year. One was in one direction and the other one winds in the opposite direction. Never saw anything like that before ever. Then when lowering the jack for the first time it folded like nothing we have seen before. I work hard for my money and the scissor jacks purchased were not built well at all (they didn’t even make it thru the first use)

by:

Great, get 2 for price of one from local dealer

by:

By weight alone, two of the removed OEM jacks weighed what one of the jacks I just received weighs. The Quality it great and they fit right where the previous jacks fit. The Travel Trailer feels more stable with the new jacks and I can now get a little help when minor level is required when parked on uneven surfaces. I should have done this right away, not after coming back from a 7000 mile trip. The OEM jacks would twist if I put too much load on them and the new jacks do not have that problem.

Comments
Jacks more better than original jacks. OEM Jacks barely supported my trailer, but after installing the new jacks in all four corners my Travel Trailer is more steady than it ever was.

by:

Fit perfect

by:

Jacks are better than what came on my trailer originally

by:

Easy to install, and work better than the original jacls

by:

All 4 Jacks arrived as stated. I Have placed them on the RV. They are doing as described. Very Happy. This the 2nd time I have ordered Stabilizer Jacks. These are for a second Trailer. I also have quick Jack Releases for the Jacks as to be easily removed for storage. I will continue to order again from this company.

Comments
Great I am always on the move and they make it so much easier. A lot better than my original Jacks.

by:

One of the 2 jacks is extremely difficult to open.

by:

Bought 2 sets very sturdy

by:

RV came with cheap jacks. These are a great replacement, super heavy duty.

by:

The Jacks Fit As Advertised But When You Raise The Jacks The Rods Extend Out Board Instead Of Inboard like My Old Ones. Be Careful You Will Scrape Your Shins.

by:

I purchased these stabilizers to replace the electric stabilizers on my 2017 Jayco. The electric stabilizers were terrible. They rusted in two years and didn’t do much to stabilize the camper. These new ones installed quickly and easily and I immediately noticed the difference. They arrived within 3 days of ordering.

by:

Order received in a timely manner. Interaction with customer service was excellent.

by:

Bought 2 to level our truck camper. Jacks are rugged enough to hold truck and camper once lifted but they did need help from the trucks jack to lift to desired level. Not enough lifting power for this application

Comments
These jacks are designed to stabilize a portion of your trailers weight, not to support the full GVWR of your trailer. Do not use these jacks to lift your trailer or RV. Doing so will exceed the capacity of these jacks. The support capacity per jack is 6,500 lbs and the combined support capacity is 13,000 lbs, but please note that these are not for lifting.

  • Bolt Recommendation for Installing Ultra-Fab Scissor Jacks to Trailer Frame
The Ultra-Fab Ultra Scissor Jacks # UF48-979002 will work well on your C-channel frame. You can attach them with #14 self-tapping screws in the smaller holes and then the manufacturer suggests using 3/8 inch grade 5 bolts for mounting in the larger holes.

  • Best Stabilizer Scissor Jack For 20 Ft Camper
I recommend the Stromberg Carlson Leveling Scissor Jack part # JSC-24-IND because it offers the most adjust-ability compared to the other scissor jacks. It can extend from 4" to 24" tall. You will probably have to drill holes to add the two new stabilizer jacks. If you already have mounting holes on the frame, I have attached the mounting hole diagram for your reference.

  • Manual Scissor Jack to Replace Electric Jacks on Springdale Summerland Series SM2450 by Keystone
We have scissor jacks like the Ultra Fab Jacks part # UF48-979002 that have 24 inches of lift and a 6,500 lb capacity. When you remove your old jacks and wiring basically you'll just have to start by removing the wiring near the jacks and switch and work your way back to where it connects to your RV's power source and then take it all out. Or if you want to leave the wiring in place you can disconnect it from the battery and then remove only what's easily accessible.

  • Scissor Jack and Drop-Leg Jack Stabilizers for Keystone Outback
Scissor jacks are a simple and cost-effective way to stabilize a trailer. A scissor jack set such as # UF48-979002 or one of the others shown on the linked page do require a bit of hand-cranking but the trade-off is excellent value and simplicity. You will want to select scissor or drop-leg jacks that give you the height range that is appropriate for the specific trailer height. You can refer to the linked article for more information on various types of jacks.

I looked at pictures of your 2017 Coachmen Catalina 281 DDS and found that at the front on the frame standard scissor jacks are mounted on it. We have the Ultra Fab scissor jacks part # UF48-979002 which would be a great option to replace the ones on your trailer that were damaged.

  • Scissor Jack Recommendation for Trailer to Replace Drop Leg Stabilizers
Looks like you have a swivel style stabilizer jack like the Atwood part # AT82301 on your trailer and are wanting to go to the Ultra Fab kit part # UF48-979002 that you referenced. We don't have a bracket for this application exactly like you listed, but if you took the trailer to a fabricator like you mentioned they'd have no problem either welding them to your trailer or creating a bracket.

  • Can Leveling Scissor Jacks, # UF48-979002, be Used to Level a Class C Motor Home
According to Husky, the Leveling Scissor Jacks, # UF48-979002, are designed for recreational vehicle leveling only and should not be used for lifting or changing tires. It sounds like you just want to get your RV level so the combined 13,000 pound capacity of each jack (6,500 pounds each) should work well for this application. Husky also states that only the included hand crank should be used to raise/lower the jacks, so I cannot recommend using any power tools to operate them. I went...

  • Scissor Jacks Slowly Lowering on Their Own
I spoke with my contact at Ultra-Fab, who is one of the leading names in stabilizer jacks, and she said that she has never come across the issue that you are having. The best we could come up with is if you are using the stabilizer scissor jacks to jack up your trailer instead of stabilizing it once it is already jacked up then that could have possibly damaged the scissor jacks. Since your scissor jacks seem to be defective I recommend checking with the manufacturer to see if they have...

Certain trailer items like scissor jacks are not trailer/motorhome-specific. In order to choose scissor jacks that will work well on your 1974 Travco Motorhome, you will just want to make sure you choose a set with the needed weight capacity, along with the proper jack height. • Will the Ultra-Fab Ultra Scissor Jacks, # UF48-979002, Fit a 1999 Coleman Pop Up Camper
The Ultra-Fab Ultra Scissor Jacks, # UF48-979002, will most likely fit your 1999 Coleman Santa Fe pop up. But to be sure you will want to determine if the 3-1/2 inch by 7-1/4 inch base on the jacks is the appropriate size for where you want to mount the jacks. The frame does not have to be exactly this size to accommodate the jacks but you will want enough surface area contact between the jack and frame to safely use the jacks.
