Question:

I think this unit is the one I will order. I have a couple of questions. 1- can I order it with the correct wiring adapter to fit the new truck so no splicing is required? My Dash port blank is 3/4 wide by 1 1/2 tall, is there a dash plate available that will fit this spot? Thanks

Expert Reply:

To install the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite part # RED44FR in your 2018 Toyota Tacoma only requires the correct install harness # 3031-S. This connector attaches directly to the connector you have under the dash of your 2018 Toyota and the other end wires to the brake controllers wiring with butt connectors. The colors all match between the two harnesses.

The smallest mount plate we have for this controller is 1-1/4" tall x 7/8" wide and is part # 331-TPSI-002.

i am getting a NEW 2020 ram 3500 tradesman crew cab 4X4 8' box, were is the plug under the dash? what dose it look like, i do not want to cut or splice any wires.
