Hitch Recommendation for 2017 Ford E-350 Cutaway Box Van
Updated 03/23/2018 | Published 03/21/2018 >
Question:
I have a 2017 E350 cutaway with a 12ft box. I am looking for a hitch that extends out the back the farthest from back bolt hole, so i can use the shortest extension bar. Im comparing the Curt #14055 and the Draw-Tite #41945. Also what are the heights from top to bottom. Thanks

Sounds like you have a box van. I wish I could recommend one of our custom fit hitches as a guaranteed fit for your vehicle but in reality we can't. Best option would be a multi fit hitch that you could modify as needed.
I spoke to my contacts at Curt and Reese and the only styles of hitches that can be made to fit a service body truck like yours are multi-fit RV hitches like the # 41990 that has a 16k capacity. This is a weld on hitch that would require either the 7 inch drop brackets part # 4907 or the 16 inch brackets part # 4916.
