Question:
Looking to get a hitch for my 2018 Subaru Crosstrek. Any major pros/cons between the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver C13382 and the EcoHitch Stealth Trailer Hitch Receiver 306-X7365? I see the EcoHitch one has the removable receiver tube so it isnt visible when not in use, but any other major pros/cons between the two? Thanks!

Expert Reply:
The Ecohitch part # 306-X7365 and the Curt hitch part # C13382 are both USA made 2 inch hitches confirmed as a fit for your 2018 Subaru Crosstrek. The biggest difference is the removable lower section that the Ecohitch has which means that when you don't need the hitch you won't see it at all. The Curt does not have this so the hitch is visible at all times. Because of that the price difference is pretty large since that feature is more expensive and highly desired.
The other thing to keep in mind is that if you were to carry a non-supported load like a bike rack with the Curt hitch you should use a stabilizer strap like # 18050 whereas with the Ecohitch that is not required.
So long story short...the Ecohitch is the better option but it costs a bit more.
