Hi Just purchase a Yakima Bike rack for our rv. Purchased this lock. Does the lock now eliminate the need for a hitch pin?

The Yakima Hitchlock part # Y07235 actually attaches to the end of the hitch pin of your Yakima bike rack. You still have to use the threaded hitch pin with this to get the lock to function.
