Replacement Hardware Needed for Westin Nerf Bars on a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 New Body

Question:

I have a 2007 Silverado 1500 crew cab new body style. I purchased a used set of Westin running boards and I am looking for replacement mounting hardware as all I have are the running boards and the mounting brackets. The boards are oval. Westin customer service said on the step pad it will say either pro traxx 4 for the 4 inch oval or pro traxx 5 for the 5 inch boards. The only thing on my step pad is Westin Pro Traxx. I need help with finding the right hardware.

The first thing that you will need to note is that Nerf Bars and Running Boards are vehicle specific. If the Westin Nerf Bars that you have were pulled off of a vehicle other than a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 New Body then there is a very good chance that they will not be compatible with your Chevy.

I did reach out to my contact at Westin who said that the 4" bars will fit your Crew Cab but the 5" bars are for an Extended Cab so they will not fit. If you do have bars that will fit your 2007 Silverado 1500 and if they are the 4" bars then the kit that you need is part # 21-2195PK.

Please note that the replacement hardware kits from Westin include the hardware AND the mounting brackets.
