Availability of Dexter Axle with 45 Degree Drop to Add Ground Clearance to Trailer

Question:

Hi I currently have a Dexter model number SC160-225. It has a 22.5 degree drop and looking for a 45 degree drop to add 2 inches more ground clearance. IS this something etrailer can order? thanks

I may have a solution for you, however we do not currently have any standard Dexter axles available that feature the kind of spindle lift you are looking for.

I instead recommend looking into an Axle-Less System from Timbren, which can eliminate the need for an axle altogether. We do have systems available, such as the 3,500 Pound # ASR3500S06, that feature a 4 inch lift to provide improved ground clearance. I have attached a short video demonstration on this system so you can get a better idea as to how they install and operate.

I was not able to locate any information on your Dexter axle using the number you provided, however if you can tell me its capacity, I will be happy to recommend a specific Timbren system that will work as a replacement.
