Question:

I am getting a new Ford F 350 in 6-8 weeks. I am getting the 5th wheel prep kit which has the gooseneck hole. I recently bought a BandW Patriot 5th Wheel Hitch and want to keep using it. Will the Patriot Hitch fit the Curt 16310 Adapter for me to use. Or do I need to find something else to fit the Patriot Hitch.

I do have a solution for you but the Curt X5 adapter # 16310 does not work with the factory gooseneck hitch on the 2018 Ford F-350. Instead you can use adapter # RP30156. It is made to fit the factory puck system (instead of the gooseneck hole) and your Patriot 5th wheel hitch will fit the adapter.

You could also use Demco adapter # DM6175 for the same purpose. I have linked videos of both adapters for you.
