i purchased a sportsman grill guard for my 2006 ford f250 . However it did not have the mounting brackets/ hardware for my truck. Can you help me? The gentleman didnt know what it came off of.

The guard for your truck is # 40-1645 and its replacement mounting brackets are in # 40-164PK.
Just so you know the Sportsman grille guards are not all the same so it is possible the one you have does not have the mounting holes in the right place and/or is not contoured to match the lines of your 2006 Ford F-250.
