For your 2009 Subaru Impreza WRX sedan with dual exhaust, I recommend the Curt # C11317 which is a confirmed fit for your vehicle. You will also need the security strap # 18050 when using this hitch for cargo carriers or bike racks, but not for towing.
If you will be doing light towing with this hitch receiver, I recommend the ball mount # 3594 and hitch ball # 19256 or # 19258 for a 2-inch diameter ball.
For wiring, I recommend the T-One # 118464 which is an easy installation behind your tail lights and will draw power directly from your battery to protect your electrical system.
Let me know if you have any other questions. I've attached a photo that a customer submitted to our site on their 2008 model with dual exhaust for reference.
