The promaster doesn’t have any trailer wireing. Can I install the kit with brake controller to have a full working system?

In order to install a 7-Way trailer connector and brake controller on your 2014 Ram ProMaster 2500 you will need a couple of items.
First you will need to install a wiring harness which will end up being part of the 7-Way connector installation. For that, yes, you can use # 22112 which also comes with the wiring needed to install a brake controller.
The only other part you will need is the brake controller. For a brake controller I recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite # RED44FR because it takes up such little space in the vehicle. I have linked a couple of videos on it for you to check out.
