Question:
I have a 5th wheel that has too much bounce while traveling down the highway. It is not overloaded. My equalizer is EQ-310. Axles are 5200 lbs. Spaced 35 apart. Do you have an equalizer upgrade for my application. I have changed tires from 15 to 16 so I don't have any extra tire clearance so an equalizer that would reduce my tire clearance will not work.

I have a few options to upgrade your EQ-310 equalizers, Item # TREQ310, but none of them have the same dimensions. If you choose to upgrade your equalizers then you may have to reconfigure your suspension setup on your trailer. If you go this direction then you will want to find an option that is as close to the EQ-310 equalizers dimensions as possible.
I recommend the Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers, Item # LC279687. These rubberized equalizers replace standard equalizers on tandem-axle trailers. The rubber cores absorb more of the road shock which will reduce chucking and bouncing and give you a smoother ride. These equalizers are 5-1/2 inches long and 6 inches tall and your EQ-310 equalizers are 6-1/16 inches long and 4 inches tall so there are some different dimensions that you will have to account for in your suspension setup.
You will also need 10 suspension bolts and 8 shackle straps for the Equa-Flex Equalizers. I recommend Never Fail Tandem Axle Suspension Upgrade Hardware Kit, Item # LC281285, which would have more than enough to cover your needs.
Before you commit to a major suspension upgrade, I would check your trailer's suspension and make sure it is in good working order. I would also make sure that your truck and trailer are sitting level with no squat. If you are sitting level with no squat then another option to consider is moving to a cushioned pin box like the 5th Airborne Premium Air Ride Coupler, Item # 5AB-S500-700 (need pin box type to get right match).
I have attached more information and videos for you to check out. If this will not work for you, let me know and I will make another recommendation.
