Location Of Factory Brake Controller Port On 2007 Toyota Tundra SR5 w/ Tow Package

Question:

I have a 2007 Tundra SR5 4.7L with tow package but I cannot find the coonnector on the truck to plug the haress into. I assumed it was under the kick panel but I did not find it. Where is it?

Expert Reply:

The connector should be located underneath the dash to the left of the steering column. It may be taped to another wire and tucked up and out of the way.

I have linked a video installation of brake controller being installed on a 2007 Toyota Tundra using the # 3040-P adapter.
