For your 2001 Ford F-250 I would recommend the B and W Turnoverball gooseneck hitch part # BWGNRK1108. This hitch allows you to flip the ball of the hitch upside down when not in use to give you complete access to the bed of the truck. Also the B and W towing products are considered by most to be the nicest available. I attached an install video for this hitch for you to check out as well.
What's great too about this hitch is that if you ever need to tow a fifth wheel trailer the fifth wheel adapter # BWRVK3500 fits this kit and will give you the nicest hitch around. This would be the hitch to use if you have a long bed truck. If instead you have a short bed truck you would want the part # BWRVK3400.
