Question:

Will this kayak carrier fit the BRIGHT LINES 2007-2011 Honda CR-V Crossbars Roof Luggage Racks OE Style rack? The bars look to be 2-3/4” wide. Looking to transport a Hobbie Outback.

There is a carrier that will work for you, but from my research it looks like the BrightLine crossbars you mentioned for your 2010 Honda CR-V are 2-3/4" wide. Due to the clamp-on style of the Swagman Exo Aero Rooftop Kayak Carrier # S65145 (see photo), it will not fit crossbars that are wider than 2-1/2" so it will not work for you, though you will want to measure your bars to confirm.

There is a saddle-style carrier which might work depending on the spread of your crossbars, the Rhino-Rack Nautic Roof Kayak Carrier # RR570. This carrier will fit crossbars that have dimensions of up to 3-7/8" wide x 1-3/8" tall and have a spread that is a minimum of 23-9/16". It comes with a pair of tie-down straps and a set of bow/stern ropes. I've added a link to a video review of this carrier for you to take a look at.
