Hi, i have an outback 2018 225/60-18. i am interested in buying the Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains - 1 Pair - PW1046 . i want to get either the Titan TCMA1 or TCMA2 chain adjusters but not sure which to get. which would you recommend? thx!

The Glacier Cable Tire Chains, part # PW1046, are confirmed to fit the 225/60-18 sized tires on your 2018 Subaru Outback. With an 18 inch rim you definitely want the # TCMA2 adjusters even though the size range for the # TCMA1 says they'll fit. You'll have a much easier time installing and using the # TCMA2.

With that being said, unless you're planning to never really use the chains and just want them to be legal in an area that requires them I recommend upgrading your choice from the # PW1046. Cable chains don't have much to offer other than the low price and keeping you legal. Plus, they really aren't going to last more than a few uses.

Instead of the cables I recommend the Titan Chain Alloy Chains, part # TC1555. These cost more than the cables but are going to last longer and give you more traction. Plus, when you factor in the cost of the rubber adjusters with the cables the price point isn't much different.
