Quick Disconnect Socket for Charging a Battery

Question:

would this be adequate to use for primary to secondary battery charge from vehicle alternator? its 2 ga. wire from an isolator set up on the vehicle battery.

As long as you do not exceed the 300 amp rating of the Pollak Single-Pole, Round Pin Trailer Wiring Socket part # PK11851 then this would work for you. For the male end of the above socket you would want to use the Pollak Single-Pole, Round Pin Trailer Wiring Connector part # PK11852. The connectors can accept a wire size up to 00 gauge therefore, the 2 gauge wire will work well for you.
