Is there another hitch for the same application with a shorter dop?

For a hitch with a shorter distance between the mounting flanges down to the hitch opening that is confirmed to fit your 2014 Chevy Silverado you would want the B and W hitch # BWHDRH25601 over the Curt Hitch part # C15800.
This hitch has slightly lower capacities and has a 2 inch opening instead of the 2-1/2 inch opening that the # C15800 has.
