Question:
Hey, I purchased the OEM gain brake controller from GMC and they said, yeah, just pop it in and connect the dummy plug end behind the coin holder top left of dash above the 4x4 and lights and poof. It works! Wrong.... Where in the other end of the 6 wire gain plug? Do I need to buy a connector? Do I need to buy a wire? Do I need to buy a different truck?

To install an aftermarket brake controller like the part # 90885 in your 2015 GMC Sierra you'd need to plug in the connector you mentioned (our part number # 3016) to the junction box under the dash to the left of the brake pedal like what you see in the attached install video at the 1:40 mark.
