Even though your shuttle bus is built on a 2008 Ford E350 chassis you will most likely need to install a universal hitch and wiring because of how different a shuttle bus and a van are.

The most popular Universal Adjustable Trailer Hitch that we carry is the Curt # 13703 which will fit vehicle frames that are 22" - 72" wide. This trailer hitch has a 2" receiver opening and has a max Gross Trailer Weight (GTW) of 3,500 lbs and a max Tongue Weight (TW) of 350 lbs. You will want to check your owner's manual to verify towing capacities and make sure that you do not exceed the lowest rated component whether it is your shuttle bus or your trailer hitch.

For wiring you will want to use the # C59496 which is compatible with the 3 wire system (separate turn and brake signals) on your shuttle bus. You will want to connect the following wires to the following functions:

Yellow - Left Turn
Green - Right Turn
Brown - Tail Lights
Red - Brake Light
White - Ground

You will also need to run the Black wire to the battery to power your trailers lights. You will likely need additional 12 Gauge Wire # 12-1-1 to reach your battery.

To complete your towing setup you will need a ball mount, hitch ball, and hitch pin and clip. The Curt Class III Ball Mount with 2" Ball - 2" Drop # C45036 is a great option that includes all of these items but you will want to reference the linked ball mount article to ensure that the 2 inch Drop is correct for your towing setup.

If you are needing a 7-Way on your shuttle bus then you will also want to install the Universal Wiring Kit # ETBC7. This will give you everything that you need for a fully functional 7-Way. Again, you will likely need more wiring so you will want to use part # 5506 for that.

To activate the brakes on your trailer you will also need to install a brake controller. I recommend the Prodigy P3 # 90195 because of how easy it is to install and the convenience of the user-friendly LCD screen.

I have attached some helpful articles on installing the ETBC7 as well as a brake controller in addition to some sample installation videos so you can get an idea of how these items will install.
