Question:

Currently running 37/12.5R17 tires although the tires actual diameter measured is 35inch since the brand runs small on my 2014 Jeep Wrangler. My neighbor plans on selling me this bike carrier but I seem to only have one standoff extension adapter that does not work with the long mounting bracket. How long is the long standoff extension adapter? If it is longer than ~2 inches thats the standoff extension adapter I have on hand, then it may fit my tire. Thanks!

Replacement Long Standoff Extension Adapter for Thule Spare Me 2 Item # 852-3305-001 is 2 inches long which sounds like what you have now.

There have been several versions of the Spare Me bike rack and not all of the replacement parts available for it fit all of the versions. If you know the approximate age of the rack or if there is a number on it or in its literature then we can determine if specific parts will fit.

If you have the Spare Me Pro # TH963PRO then we have the replacement long mounting bracket # 752-1425-002 with an overall length of 5-1/2 inches. The rack will fit a tire 12-1/2 inches wide as long as the long mounting bracket AND long standoff adapter are used.
