Question:
Im planning to install a new axel in my utility trailer, the measure from hub to hub is 60inch that match the one you have for 2000 lb axel, but for spring-center to spring-center are than 30, could I removed the spring bracket from the axel and weld them at the right measure for my trailer ?

Yes! You can weld the springs seats to a different location on Dexter trailer axle # 20440I-ST-60. But instead of cutting off the ones on the axle and welding them back on I recommend getting new springs seats, # TRSS175 (sold in quantities of 1), and welding them on in the proper position. This will ensure that the springs seats are in good shape.
