Skid Wheels for a 31 Foot Forest River RV

Question:
HI We have a 2018 Ford. Forest River Forester 31 foot RV that hits bottom when backing up into the drive way. Which skid wheel would work for this issue. Also, do they have to be welded on?

The best skid wheels for your 31 foot Forest River Forester are going to be the Ultra-Fab Skid Wheels # UF48-979012. The 5" diameter wheels are bolted to brackets which are welded onto your RV's frame. Please keep in mind skid wheels are only to help tail dragging when backing up and should not be relied upon to stop the full force of an RV from coming into contact with a steep driveway. They can help if the angle is such that the RV's rear truly does "skid" off the driveway, however.
