Question:

Hi, I want to the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate to a 2002 Workhorse P42 step van that has been converted to a food truck. Will this system fit a P42? I could not find P42inch listed on your website. I have included a few photos to show what the truck looks like. Thanks so much. -Rich

I do have suspension enhancement options for a 2002 Workhorse P42 Chassis but there are no air bags available unfortunately. Instead, you can use the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System. The correct one will be based off the suspension. The part # TGMRP30MH is for models with bump stop over u-bolt pad and part # TGMRP30 is for models with bump stop on the frame. These options all work well to provide additional support.

Do these come in contact directly with the axle or do they come with a u bolt and pad? I guess I don’t quite understand how they work.

@LorenP The part # TGMRP30MH are intended to come into contact with the axle when under a load. Unloaded they should not be in contact. You will find the manufacturer instruction sheet linked below.
