Question:
Nothing safer than full-welded trailer hitch ball on the draw bar. Problem is to find access to just a plain carbon steel 2 inch 6ooo # hitch ball to have a certified gas welding shop attach to a 2 inch square V-7000 5-1/4 inch plain carbon steel draw bar, then powder coat paint for more corrosion resistance though obviously not superior than if this whole description could be provided in stainless steel draw bar and ball at that customized . But not expecting the ridiculous. Chinese carbon steel powder-coated draw bars, with 2 inch and 2-5/16 inch carbon steel balls are readily available from all American import hitch suppliers - - where do the Chinese get their 2 inch plain carbon steel hitch balls ? Any recommendations ? Thanks.

We actually have exactly what you are looking for - no modification needed!
I have attached a link to our selection of ball mounts that have 1 hitch ball included, like the Curt # C45154 rated for 7,500 lbs. You can filter through the options to find the correct ball mount for you application.
If you would rather have a completely powder coated option with multiple hitch balls I recommend using the B&W Triple Tow Tri-Ball Mount for 2" Hitches # BWBMTT31004. This features 3 hitch balls that are welded to the shank with everything powder coated for corrosion resistance like what you are looking for. The 1-7/8" ball is rated for 3,500 lbs, the 2" ball is rated for 7,500 lbs, and the 2-5/16" ball is rated for 10,000 lbs. I have also linked our selection of ball mounts that have multiple hitch balls available for you to filter through.
If you are looking more for a ball mount with a 5-1/4" Drop then what you could do is use the Curt # C45070, which has a 6 inch drop, along with a Raw Steel hitch ball, like part # BWHB94001. You could have a shop weld it and then you could cover it with the black powder coating that you mentioned.
Theone of the Curt options comes with a hitch pin and clip but the other Curt and B&W options do not. For that you would need part # PC3. However, I do recommend using a Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock - 2" and 2-1/2" Hitches - Stainless Steel # C23519 instead to help prevent theft of your equipment.
