Recommended Mounting Hardware for Sears X-cargo Mounting Hardware

Question:

Hi - I have an old 1993Sears X cargo 15 cft cargo carrier. I want to replace the mounting straps with mounting hardware. Im not sure which parts will work best, the U-bolt kit or the regular bolt kit. The carrier is side opening so that is a consideration also. Thanks for your help.

For your old Sears X cargo roof box, I recommend the Replacement Hardware Kit for Searsbox Cargo Box # TH05603 which is a confirmed fit for the Sears X-Cargo sport 20 Carrier. This will fit holes 4 inches on center. If you have different measurements on your 15 cu ft box than those provided in this kit, let me know your center on center mounting hole measurement.
