Trailer Tire in Size 4.80-12 that is Rated for 75 MPH

Question:
I have a utility trailer that was a 4x6. Ive extended the front end another 2 ft to accommodate a motorcycle. The tires are 4.8 x 12 on 5 lug rated speed class C. My question: Can this tire withstand 75 mpH loaded interstate travel speeds? If not a wise deal, what tire is recommended? The axle on this trailer has a stamp that reads 2200lbs. The cycle weight is approx. 750lbs!

In the tire size of 4.80-12 we have one tire that is rated for up to 81 mph, part # TTWSF48012C. Most are only rated for 65 and we wouldn't be able to recommend you exceeding that.
What you'd want to do is check the sidewall of the tire for the speed rating. If you need to go 75 and your tire says lower you'd have to get the part # TTWSF48012C.
