Installation of Hitch on Fifth Wheel Trailer

Question:

Wanting to get a hitch on back of 5th wheel to pull my boat. Just not sure which would be the best option for me. Looks to me like the I-beam shown in pictures is sandwiching the actual frame of the camper to hold the bumper. Can I attach to that? Due to having a 2nd bathroom the tank is right in from of the IBeam under the plastic belly cover. So I wont be able to go ahead of what is shown in pictures

The Curt Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs # 13703 uses frame brackets for installation, and those need to be positioned on the inside of an I-beam frame, as per the instructions (a copy of which I have linked for you). That is what will provide you with the most secure attachment point for your trailer.

This hitch will work with frames that are 22" to 72" and is Class III rated with a maximum trailer weight of 3,500 lbs and a maximum tongue weight of 350 lbs. I've added links to a pair of video reviews of this hitch for you to take a look at.
