Question:

What are the actual dimensions of the platform? I want to mount a generator on the platform and I need a minimum of 29inch x 28. I dont want the generator hanging over the sides of the platform even though it might be within the rails of the rack. Thanks in advance. BTW the generator weighs 200 lbs

The floor of the 48x32 Lets Go Aero GearCage FP4 Slide-Out Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 300 lbs Item # H01380 is 27 inches by 48 inches so it would hang over some but not much.

Pro Series carrier # PS1040100 has useable platform dimensions of 47-3/4" long x 31-3/4" wide so it would have more than enough space for your generator. I have included a link to a video review of this carrier for you.

Either of these carriers has more than enough weight capacity for your 200 pound generator.
