Solid And Secure Carrier For Mobility Scooter

Question:

Looking for an option for solid and secure carrier for mobility scooter. It can be broken down into several pieces, but not sure it will all fit. Has this been researched at all? If so, what are the best options?

Hello Jim, thanks for reaching out. We do have a hitch mounted carrier that works great for mobility scooters. Take a look at the Erickson Aluminum Mobility / Cargo Carrier # EM34JV. This is made of aluminum so it is strong and lightweight. It has a 47" long folding ramp. The inside dimensions of the carrier are 50" long x 30-1/4" wide so please measure the base of your scooter to make sure it will fit. The carrier has a 400 lb capacity which should be plenty for virtually any mobility scooter. just need to make sure it fits on the carrier and you will be good.

You will also want to be sure your vehicle is equipped with a 2" hitch receiver. If you don't have one already let me know the year, make and model of your vehicle and I am happy to make a recommendation.
