Does Width/Depth Figure of UWS Toolbox # UWS01061 Include Lid

Question:

I have to fit this box into a space that is exactly 24inch wide. My question is whether the width of the box is measured at the lid or at the bottom. If it is 24inch measured at the lid then it would give me a little extra width at the bottom which I could use. Also, I ordered a tool box like this from another company a few years ago and it arrived dented and it was a real hassle getting it squared away. What would I do if one arrived that way from you? The mfrs dont seem to pack these things well. Thank you.

The width or depth measurement of the UWS tool box # UWS01061 that you referenced is exactly 24 inches including the lid so it would work for you. A while back there were issues with the packaging of these tool boxes but they have been addressed and are now not showing up damaged like they once did. The issue was the packaging from the manufacturer and not from us. If there was an issue with this box we would take care of it though.
