Difference in Bearing Race # L68111 and Bearing Race # L68110

I am having trouble finding kits with the l68110 race in it and the few things i have read say they are different races with different dimentions. are they interchangeable? thanks.

Race # L68111 has an outer diameter of 2.361 inches.

Race # L68110 has an outer diameter of 2.327 inches.

Based on these measurements, the two races are not interchangeable. They are designed for different size hubs, but can use the same # L68149 bearing.

There may not be a pre-packaged kit with the L68110 race, but you can still get all the parts you need separately. I have included a link to our bearing and race main page for you to view.

Need a bearing seal for L68110 race. 2.327" OD and a inner bearing L68149 with ID of 1.374" or so. Do you have these seals?

The inner bearing # L68149 is typically used with a 10-19 grease seal, part # RG06-050. I would still try and verify that this is the correct replacement seal for your hub though. This seal has a 1.719" inner diameter and a 2.565" outer diameter.

SKF - BR13 contains the LM68149 and LM68110 together SKF - BR17 contains the LM68149 and LM68111 together Both should be in stock or by quick acquisition at any auto parts store.

Timken SET 13 vs SET 17, just figured it out myself, I'm not positive but I think Timken came up with all of these SET numbers, SET 12 is the outer bearing on my hub. Also easily found on rockauto. @AlanR

Hi Tony; the #BK2-100 and #TMK52VR come with the same size bearings and grease seal. The main difference is the Timken name. This is usually associated with a higher quality bearings that are made in the USA which also accounts for the higher cost.

It would be a good idea to charge the Brightway kit part #BW94FR once you get it and then periodically when it is stored. To do that you would want to connect the black wire of the kit to the positive clamp and the white to the ground.
