We have everything you need to tow a trailer with your 2013 Lexus RX 350.
Starting with the trailer hitch, I recommend the Curt Class III Receiver Hitch # C13143. This is an excellent Class III hitch that will provide a 2 inch receiver opening and has a towing weight capacity of 4,000 pounds. You will also want to check the towing capacity of your vehicle, as this will likely be your limiting factor. This information should be listed in your copy of the owner's manual. This hitch is confirmed to fit your Lexus RX 350 and will use existing holes in the vehicle frame for a no-drill installation. I have included the installation details along with a video on the 2014 RX 350 that you can use for reference.
Then for trailer wiring, if your vehicle does not have the factory tow package, I recommend the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118255. This custom harness will connect to the existing ports located under the vehicle on the driver side. Once installed, you will have a 4-Way connector to hook up with a trailer and power its rear signal lights. If you will be towing a trailer with brakes, you will just need to add the Universal Wiring Kit # ETBC7. This kit will include everything needed to install a fully functional 7-Way from the existing 4-Way and a trailer brake controller. For a trailer brake controller, I highly recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 # 90885.
Finally, to tow a trailer you will need a ball mount. I have attached an article that will help you determine the correct ball mount to tow your trailer level, along with a link that will take you to our available selection.
I have attached a couple of additional articles on trailer towing that you might also find helpful.
