Looking for everything needed for out XT Forester with eyesight. Wanted to be sure we order the correct pieces since the XT model has the dual exhaust. Thank you

The hitch I recommend for your 2016 Subaru Forster which is a confirmed fit for the XT model is the Draw-Tite # 75876; which will not require you to use stabilizing straps for non-trailer loads like the Curt hitch does. The Draw-Tite is a Class III, 2" receiver with a towing capacity of 3,500 lbs and tongue weight capacity of 525 lbs.

Should you want to tow with your Forester, you would need a 4-pole connector, which you would get with wiring harness # 118467. For a ball mount, I recommend checking out Ball Mount Kit # 989900, which will fulfill your towing needs in one tidy package; a pair of ball mounts to give you the appropriate rise or drop, a 1-7/8” ball, a 2” ball and a pin and clip.
