Hello. I need a hitch and then some trailer wiring for my 2025 Forester. I will be towing a trailer and want to be set up and ready to go.

Hi Jack; for your 2025 Forester I recommend the etrailer # e83ZR. This is a Class III hitch with a 2" receiver and bolt-on installation. It features a matte black finish which gives it an OEM look and helps hide dirt and scratches. The hitch also comes with a limited lifetime warranty.

For wiring you can use the Curt # C56040. This plugs into the connection point in your rear cargo area and will give you a 4-way to power your trailer's signal lights. If you have brakes and need a 7-way the # ETBC7 will also be required along with a brake controller like the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty # RED52VR. Then for a ball mount you can use the etrailer # e67DR.
