Trailer Hitch that Fits 2017 Subaru Forester XT with Dual Exhaust

Question:

i am looking for a hitch that is easy to install that works with my 2017 forster XT a lot of the hitches i looked at do not give instructions for the XT model which has two exhausts. Do you know which models will fit? and which one will be easiest to install. its only for a bike rack or cargo tray.

The Draw Tite hitch part # 75876 that you referenced IS a fit for your 2017 Subaru Forester XT with dual exhaust. We had a customer come back with an XT similar to yours that does have dual exhaust and it did fit. I attached a picture for you to see of this.

Here's how one customer described the install:

With the dual mufflers the install was a little different than the video. I removed both mufflers and did not undo the hanger on the exhaust pipe from the header. No need for a strap and there was enough flex in the pipe to wiggle the mufflers free. The two hangers on each muffler are a tight fit and required fingers, I couldn't see a way to use a tool. I found it was easier to free the rear hanger first, then work on the forward hanger. And with the re-install of the mufflers I attached the front hanger first. The rest of the install went like the video.
