Hub/Drum Recommendation for 18 ft EZ Dumper Trailer

Question:

I just had 1 more question before ordering. The ones that are on the trailer now have these ribs on the side like these. Does that matter? Thank you again for all your help.

Your picture didn't make it through. But to pick out drums you'll need to get me the diameter of the spindle on your trailer or the numbers off of the bearings.

The outer bearing is L44649. I measured inside the hub and it was 10 inch x 2.25 inch. The bolt pattern is 5x4.5. Thank you for your help

Thanks for getting back to me. The hub/drum you need is the part # AKHD-545-35-K. Based on the bearing number L44649, drum diameter and bolt pattern you mentioned this is the exact fit you need.

Those ribs don't really serve a practical purpose. That just means you have a Dexter hub currently which the hub I recommended will work very well as a replacement for. Tons of people have used the # AKHD-545-35-K as a hub to replace a Dexter and it has worked great.
