Question:
I have a 2023 Imagine 2970RL. I went to pack the bearings and all the drums had huge grooves from the magnet and some mild ones from the shoes I’m assuming the bearings allowed outward flex and had the magnet rubbing the hub? Regardless. I need all new brakes and hubs. I looked ay my spec sheet and see I have 4400lb axles. There is very little info on 4400lb axles. I went back and looked at my pictures I took and found Axletek 44-GG on the inner brake plate. I just need some verification before I order these that I have the correct part numbers please. Brake assembly AKEBRK-35-SA and hubs part number AKHD-655-35-EZ-K. My hubs say Axle teknology BD3-65535 on them. I need all 4 also. Is this the correct parts? Thank you for any help you can give, Billy

Hey Billy, thanks for all the info and the pictures it really does make our job much easier! So I took a look at those parts you have and they are going to be the correct parts.
The Easy Grease Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly for 3.5K Axles # AKHD-655-35-EZ-K will replace your current hubs, and the etrailer Electric Trailer Brakes # AKEBRK-35-SA will replace your current braking assemblies.
Even though these say for a 3,500 lb axle, they still will work for a 4,400 lb axle. If there is anything else I can do for you, please feel free to drop a comment and let me know!

Hey Billy, how did the new hubs and brake assemblies work out on your Imagine 2970RL? It’d be great to know if everything fit up smoothly with those 4,400 lb axles. Your update could make it easier for the next person with the same setup.
